Why Gentry Financial Services
For Assistance Through "The Maze of Your Financial Life"
Today, Gentry Financial Services focuses on helping entrepreneurs, executives, and their families (with $250,000 or more in investible assets) successfully navigate the complexities of planning for and living in retirement.
My practice began more than 35 years ago when I attended a training program at Prudential Insurance Company.
With each successive stage in my career I acted from a hunger to bring more and still more knowledge and experience to clients. In addition, through training and practice, I learned how to address the specific needs of financial planning for business owners, physicians, and high net worth individuals.
I earned my CRPCS® (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor) designation in 2010 for financial planning for retirement. It's a demanding program that requires extensive coursework, passing a final exam, and adhering to a code of ethics along with continuing education.
For Independent Advice
Since 2001 Gentry Financial Services has been an independent Registered Advisor Representative with Lincoln Financial Securities Corporation
That means that you receive objective advice that's in your best interest. As an independent advisor, I can meet clients' tough challenges with sound, unbiased advice. I have no vested interests and no proprietary products to sell.
In addition, Gentry Financial Services adds the resources of Lincoln Financial Securities Corp., offering clients the assurance of ongoing due diligence, oversight, and accountability.
For Custom-Tailored Financial Planning
You realize that a one-size-fits-all approach does not take into account your unique personality, your special situation, and your desires. Above all, you want advice that suits you.
The 6-Step Financial and Retirement Planning Process may be your answer. For more about this Financial and Retirement Planning Process . . .
For Preservation Of Assets With The Potential For Growth
Yesterday's thinking, you found, doesn't work in today's turbulent economic climate.
You may be looking for a strategic financial planning approach with a tactical component that stands up in good times and bad. For some 8 years I have called on the "Sailing and Rowing" approach and its investment techniques that navigate effectively through volatile economic conditions.
For Help With A Perplexing Concern
Not all clients are ready for holistic financial planning. Some simply need help with a particular issue. A business owner, for instance, may be looking for a solution for what to do with an IRA. In that case I would take time to grasp his or her whole financial life before developing a recommendation.
Or an executive may be looking for an answer to what to do with company stock in his or her 401(k) plan. Again, I would first gain a detailed picture of their needs and desires before suggesting an approach.
For The "Full-Service" Financial Planning Alternative
Gentry Financial Services can be thought of as the "full-service" alternative.
Here's how it can work for you: An issue may come up in your life or your business that demands a timely answer outside the financial planning we are working on together. It may be, for example, a decision about making a purchase or refinancing. Or, perhaps, you need professional input about a perplexing business situation.
I am accessible. And you will be surprised about how easy it is to get in touch with me by phone. When you call with a question or concern, I'll return your call within hours, if not minutes. Whether it's by a face-to-face meeting or over the phone, together we'll work out answers for you.
Underpinning our work is this key principle: Underpromising and Overperforming.
